NFL fans are typically fans for life, but every now and then, we see one retire. It happened on Monday. The New York Jets are off to a miserable 2-6 start this season.

New York fell to New England, 25-22, at Gillette Stadium on Sunday afternoon. The Jets entered the 2024 regular season with Super Bowl expectations, but they are closer to picking No. 1 overall in the NFL Draft than they are to being a playoff team.

On Monday, a New York Jets fan announced his retirement from the game. "Due to recent struggles and constant pain suffered from the New York Jets, i’ve ultimately decided that i’m gonna step away from the game I have once loved. I’m not sure when i’ll be back but I can no longer endure the constant torture and pain the New York Jets give me," the fan announced.
