If the season ended today, the Pats would pick third overall in the 2025 NFL Draft, trailing only the Raiders and Giants. At 3-11, the Patriots have the second-worst record in the league, one they share with four other teams. However, because their strength of schedule is the easiest among those clubs, the Pats win the tiebreaker for the highest pick.
The Patriots are projected to be underdogs in all three of their final games: at Buffalo, versus the Chargers and versus the Bills. If they lose out and finish at 3-14, they would need only a win by the Giants or Raiders to leap into the top two picks, and wins by both teams to jump into the No. 1 overall spot.
The Giants will finish with games at Atlanta, versus the Colts and at Philadelphia. The Raiders will wrap up by hosting the Jaguars, playing at New Orleans and hosting the Chargers. The Pats’ next kickoff is set for 4:25 p.
m. this Sunday at Buffalo..
