New-Gen Maruti Grand Vitara Likely Arriving This Year – All Key Info

GaadiWaadi -The second generation Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara is expected to launch before the end of this year with big revisions inside and outMaruti Suzuki is gearing up to introduce its first EV, the e Vitara, which is expected to launch in the coming weeks. Speculation about a three-row SUV based on the Grand Vitara has been circulating for some time and a recent sighting of a test prototype has further fuelled anticipation. The Grand Vitara has been a game-changer for the brand since its launch in late 2022 in the midsize SUV space.

The second-generation model is expected to hit the market by late 2025 or early 2026 with a three-row version likely following suit next year. Recent spy images reveal notable design refinements over previous test prototypes. Drawing heavy inspiration from the e Vitara, the new model features a reworked front grille, redesigned bumpers and updated headlamps.



It boasts several new design updates that set it apart from the existing model. Key highlights include a more upright front grille flanked by prominent LED headlamps, LED fog lamps integrated into the redesigned bumper, and an updated bonnet that adds to its muscular stance. The SUV also features a wider air intake, a new front skid plate and squared-off wheel arches.

This revised tailgate not only contributes to a more modern look but is also expected to offer improved boot space, making it a more practical choice for families.Under the hood, the powertrain lineup is expected to remain largely unchanged.

The familiar 1.5L mild-hybrid petrol engine and the 1.5L strong hybrid petrol unit will continue to be offered, paired with both manual and automatic transmission options.
