The New York Opera Alliance (NYOA) has announced that “Opera Fest 2025” will take place May 1 – June 30.“Opera Fest” will feature over two dozen performances by NYOA member companies across all five boroughs. This year, the festival aims to highlight the cultural tapestry of NYC with performances in traditional theatres, public libraries, museums, and outdoor spaces.

The Bronx Opera Company opens the festival with a production of Mozart’s “Così fan tutte,” followed by “BxO in Concert.” Other mainstage productions include Verdi’s “La Traviata” presented by Regina Opera Company, dell’Arte Opera Ensemble’s production of Mozart’s “La Clemenza di Tito,” and Mozart’s “The Impresario” by Lighthouse Opera Company.Opera scenes and concerts are presented by American Opera Projects, International Brazilian Opera Company, SAS Performing Arts Company & Studios, Welltone New Music, little OPERA theatre of NY, Harlem Opera Theater, and dell’Arte Opera Ensemble.



The festival culminates in the event, “NYOA Next!” The celebratory evening will spotlight the future of NYC opera at Marc Scorca Hall at OPERA America on June 16.
