A NEW yoga and wellbeing studio is launching in Flintshire aiming to promote health, mindfulness and community. Gemma Quinton is delighted to be launching The Healing Space; a new boutique wellness studio in the heart of Buckley. After moving to north Wales from Manchester and noticing the absence of a purpose-built facility to support mindful exercise, Gemma became determined to do something about it.
Following a career in accountancy, it was time to ignite the 35-year-old's true passion and use the additional teaching qualifications to host a variety of sessions. After finding the right building, The Healing Space began to take shape. The Healing Space (Image: UGC) Based at Lesters Farm Shop in Drury, the company will host a range of yoga practices, chair yoga, meditation, reiki, holistic therapies, sound healing, pilates, events and group fitness classes.
Gemma said: "Wellness for everyone is at the heart of this new and exciting local business. The aim is to encourage connection and community. I was so nervous initially, but after sharing the news on social media, I'm now completely excited.

There's always a risk with a new business, especially the financial side. But I've had the most unbelievable response, and was just received really well by the community.
" MORE NEWS Joining Gemma will be a cohort of wonderful instructors helping to offer something for everyone. All ages and abilities will be welcome when it launches in the early-summer. A website is also being designed to encourage a seamless online booking experience for all clients.
