A mum with a love for secondhand clothing is opening a new vintage store in Norwich. Store Vintage is preparing to open its doors at 64 St Augustines Street after a "manic setting up process". Abbi Evans picked up the keys on April 1 and has been busy stocking up ahead of the open evening on April 11.

One shop closed in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic and the second closed following Abbi's maternity leave for her now three-year-old son. But the business owner now feels it is the right time to establish a career from her love of clothes.

"It is important for the environment but it is also just my favourite way to shop so it made sense to make a career out of it." The shop will stock clothes from the 1970s to the 2000s for men, women and children as well as homeware and accessories.

"I am prioritising stocking everyday pieces that people can easily work into their wardrobe," Abbi added. The store's open evening is from 5pm to 8pm and goody bags will be given to the first five customers who spend more than £20.

Store Vintage will be open Friday and Saturday between 10am and 4pm..
