New village to appear in Kara-Suu for mudflow-affected citizens

- Construction of houses for citizens, who lost their homes during mudflows, is underway in the village of Kyrgyz-Chek of Mady rural municipality of Kara-Suu district. The Osh regional government said the process of work has been checked by first deputy governor of the region Kurbanbek Aitibayev. Today the roofs are covered on some houses, internal walls are being finished.

Earlier a one-time material aid was handed over to mudflow-affected citizens from the President’s Fund. The delegation of the regional government then arrived in the village of Ak-Tash, Ala-Too rural municipality, Kara-Suu district, where construction of houses for citizens, who have moved from the Barak exclave, is in process. In the village of Zhany-Barak, 101 residential houses are being built on 38 hectares of land plot.



The houses are built by a similar project with all necessary infrastructure..
