By Darin Zullo A new Trader Joe’s location is coming to West Roxbury, the grocery store chain announced. The store will be located at 1999 Centre St. and is expected to open later this year, according to an announcement from the grocery store .
“We’ve consulted our maps and compass and have found a terrific location for a store in Boston, MA,” the company said. “We are proud to be joining the neighborhood, and to continue our commitment to providing nourishment to the surrounding communities through our Neighborhood Shares program.” An exact opening date and time has not been announced, but the company said it’s planning to share more details later on.
The location will join 23 other Trader Joe’s stores in Massachusetts , including two locations in Boston’s Back Bay and one in the Seaport District. One of the chain’s Back Bay locations opened less than a year ago after it was announced last May. Unlike that location, the new West Roxbury store will not sell alcohol, according to the chain’s website.
