A weather warning has been issued for most of Wales with further snow and rain expected to cause issues into the week. It comes after three weather warnings were in place at the same time in Wales, including an amber one for snow. A yellow weather warning for rain has been put in place between 6am on Sunday and 6am on Monday.
The Met Office said outbreaks of rain, heavy in some places, were likely with 15 to 25mm of rainfall expected. This will be combined with thawing of snow, which may lead to flooding. Among the areas of Wales affected are; Blaenau Gwent , Bridgend , Caerphilly , Cardiff , Carmarthenshire , Ceredigion , Denbighshire , Gwynedd , Merthyr Tydfil, Monmouthshire , Neath Port Talbot , Newport , Pembrokeshire , Powys, Rhondda Cynon Taf, Swansea , Torfaen , and Wrexham .
A spokesperson for the Met Office said: "Check if your property could be at risk of flooding. If so, consider preparing a flood plan and an emergency flood kit." For the latest Welsh news delivered to your inbox sign up to our newsletter .
A further weather warning for snow and ice will be in place between 12am and 12pm tomorrow, with further snowfall and icy stretches in places. The Met Office said snow would become "more sporadic" during Monday morning. The areas of Wales which will be affected by snow and ice include Conwy , Denbighshire, Flintshire , Gwynedd, Powys and Wrexham.
A spokesperson from the Met Office said: "Snowy, wintry weather can cause delays and make driving conditions dangerous. Keep yourself and others safe by planning your route, giving yourself extra time for your journey. Check for road closures or delays to public transport and amend plans if necessary.
