And the Saints are now likely going to be interested in signing the quarterback following injury to Derek Carr.Carr is expected to miss a substantial portion of the 2025 NFL season with a shoulder injury.And ESPN reporter Louis Riddick believes the Saints could use their ninth pick in the draft to snap up Shedeur.
He tweeted: “That ninth 9th pick gonna be all kinds of interesting.”Shedeur’s father, who coaches the Buffaloes, added fuel to the fire by reposting Riddick’s post with two eyeball emojis.The Saints could be pipped to Sheuder’s services by either the Tennessee Titans, Cleveland Browns or the New York Giants, who have the first three successive picks of the draft.
But Reddick said: “I hope he doesn’t go in the top three picks.GETTYShedeur Sanders will be high on several teams’ wishlists[/caption]“I hope he doesn’t. And I think his camp would tell you the same thing.
“There are other teams they want to go to. “He knows that every kid, every parent wants to be drafted as high as possible.“But sometimes if you do slide — and I’m not saying that he is or isn’t, I don’t know what’s going to happen — but if he does slide, it’s not the end of the world.
“It could wind up being better for you. That’s the point.”.
