0 and 5.0 requires more than just embracing technology.“Artificial intelligence, big data and the Internet have changed how we learn and interact.

But digital transformation is not just about using tech—it’s about rethinking how we plan, teach and engage creatively with courage and problem-solving skills,” he said.He said this at the opening ceremony of the 2025 Innovation and Creativity Competition at the Rajang Institute of Teacher Education (IPG). This year’s competition is themed ‘Digital Transformation: Catalyst for Creative and Innovative Education’.

Ding said such competitions were highly relevant in today’s dynamic and evolving educational landscape, and encouraged the development of solutions for modern classrooms such as mobile apps, digital modules, interactive teaching tools and user-friendly learning aids.“Digital transformation should also elevate the professionalism of teachers, who now must act not just as educators but as innovation leaders, facilitators and creativity enablers for children.”He added human values and social responsibility must remain at the heart of every innovation, despite rapid technological advances.

“Empathy, integrity, and accountability must not be sidelined. Technology is only a tool, it is people who determine its direction and use,” he said.Ding also proposed that promising innovations be properly documented, monitored, and possibly registered as official products for wider use across other educational institutions.

Also present were Rajang IPG campus leadership representative Habibu Morsili and its staff. The post New mindset needed in rapid wave of digital transformation, says Meradong rep appeared first on Borneo Post Online..
