Under the hood, the new Dzire is powered by a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder Z-series petrol engine delivering 82 hp and 112 Nm of peak torque.
This is slightly lower than the outgoing model’s 1.2-litre 4-cylinder engine’s 90 hp, 113 Nm. The power plant will offer both a 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT for transmission choices.
The carmaker has claimed a mileage of 24.79 kmpl with the manual and 25.71 kmpl with the AMT.
