Fine Entertainment, the Vegas-based hospitality group behind concepts like AmeriCAN Beer & Cocktails, BLVD Grille, PKWY Tavern, and the George Sportsmen’s Lounge, is currently at work on its next addition to the Las Vegas scene: Smelly Cat, a new karaoke bar opening in Suite 100 at 3619 Las Vegas Blvd S, according to plan review paperwork submitted to Clark County. “It’s a big space with a stage and another karaoke room that can broken out,” Jonathan Fine, owner of Fine Entertainment, told What Now on Wednesday. “There’s going to be live music, dueling pianos, themed karaoke nights, and live band karaoke.
” The space features seating for about 150-200 guests and will feature a bar serving 12-16 keg cocktails, plus cat-themed craft cocktails, and a food menu featuring wings, fries, another easy bights. “We’ll be doing a fun, easy cuisine you can eat while holding a microphone.” If you’ve ever been to Fine Entertainment’s Rockhouse venue, you might remember walls hung with images of singers and bands (may of whom long passed away) superimposed on the Rockhouse stage.
Something similar will be in play here, with images of famous singers reimagined as cats. “What would Garth Brooks, or Taylor Swift, or Post Malone look like as a cat?” Fine said. We’re looking forward to finding out! Keep an eye out for an opening in late May.
