Y. — The Onondaga County sheriff’s deputy promoted recently to oversee the county jail once was disciplined for lying on records and failing to inspect deputies’ weapons, a report said. Nate Hawker was appointed as chief custody deputy in July.
He is responsible for the management and supervision of the county Justice Center..
