New Glada chief assumes office

Ludhiana: Harpreet Singh , a 2019-batch IAS officer , assumed charge as chief administrator of the Greater Ludhiana Area Development Authority ( Glada ) on Monday. Previously Amritsar’s municipal commissioner, he has also served as Amritsar’s ADC (G), besides as SDM at Dera Baba Nanak and Amritsar. He said his focus will be on implementing policies related to urban areas and being tough on illegal colonies.
