New 'Friday' Movie in the Works, Ice Cube to Write & Star!

Ice Cube is working on a new Friday movie for Warner Bros. and New Line Cinema! The new film is called Last Friday , and will be the fourth installment in the comedy series — and the first in over 20 years, following Friday After Next in 2002, via Variety . Keep reading to find out more.

.. New Line president and CCO Richard Brener confirmed a deal had been reached with the music star and actor to develop the movie in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter .
