People are being given the chance to run a new café in Eastbourne. Eastbourne Borough Council are inviting expressions of interest for a new café at Shinewater Park. The café will open in late Spring this year and hopes to become a new focal point of the park, encouraging more visitors to the area.
The council hopes the new café will make visitors spend more time in the park and enjoying other leisure and nature activities which are available. The buildings design will also have features as requested by the local community.
It will include high-spec installation, double glazing, and solar PV panels, as well as having connection to mains electricity, water, and wi-fi. The site also has a designated area around the building which will permit outside seating. People have until 5pm on March 27 to submit an application.
