SHHHH, DON’T tell anyone: The Tesla “dealership” and service center is now open in Londonderry. Besides a showroom on the Seacoast, this marks Tesla’s first move into the Granite State. The reason for quotation marks around dealership is the automaker does things differently, with most vehicles sold online.

To Tesla they are either stores or galleries. The inside of the showroom features the Model 3 sedan and Model Y compact crossover. I reached out to Tesla representatives about the opening, but haven’t heard back.

The company has been in the news with founder Elon Musk’s role in the federal government and a rash of vandalism around the country. Here in New Hampshire a Massachusetts man was caught on video apparently keying a Cybertruck at the Omni Mount Washington Resort & Spa . The new 50,000-square-foot location is at 36 Industrial Drive and is somewhat off the beaten path near the Manchester-Boston Regional Airport .

A big reason is most Tesla owners know where they need to go to get service or charge up. The dealership was originally planned for Bedford but later moved to Londonderry. On a recent afternoon, workers were putting the finishing touches on some of the offices and service area.

The small showroom was decorated to show off the two different models. Once fully operational, the Tesla location plans to service up to 75 cars a day and employ about 35 people. A new Thai restaurant opened in Milford in what some call the “old fish market.

” Asian Thai Kitchen took over the space at 251 Elm St., which was previously Milford Seafood & Grill . The restaurant includes a full-service bar and indoor seating.

Signature dishes include tangy green curry and zesty pad Thai. The restaurant owners work with local farmers for the freshest ingredients. “Thai food is very spicy.

Most dishes may be made with no added spice (aka ‘Heat’), or you may choose your spice level when you order,” its website says. The Golden Egg Diner in Portsmouth is now serving up some of those favorite brunch cocktails such as bloody marys, mimosa, bobmosa, espresso martinis and even beer. Wine and prosecco are also now on the menu.

“You asked so we responded, now serving your favorite cocktails,” the restaurant wrote on Facebook. The addition required the diner to get a license through the state. The Golden Egg reopened in a new location after COVID-19 restrictions caused the owners to look for a new place to do business.

The Golden Egg eventually reopened in May 2023 in the spot of the former Nostimo Greek restaurant at 72 Mirona Road. Last week, this column featured chains expanding into the New Hampshire with their first locations, many of them at Tuscan Village in Salem. Well, there is another: Warby Parker , the lifestyle eyewear retailer.

The grand opening will take place Saturday. The location will feature the brand’s full optical and sunglass assortment, including the new Summer 2025 collection. Eye exams will be available in the future.

The new O’Neil Cinemas set to open in Londonderry is geared toward bringing an “unparalleled movie-going experience to the community, featuring cutting-edge technology, luxurious seating, and enhanced amenities.” The O’Neil brand will return after the building was leased to AMC in 2014 and then closed last year. The theater is set to reopen in July, according to a news release.

The O’Neil family previously operated out of the space. The plans also call for the Backstage Lounge , a restaurant and bar located in the main lobby, “perfect for enjoying a meal and crafted cocktail before or after a show or hosting private events,” according to a news release. “This will be a place to gather, it will offer families an exceptional value and it represents a significant revival in New Hampshire cinema,” Dan O’Neil Sr.
