Construction is underway on Panattoni Park Bognor Regis, a new business park set to bring three large industrial and logistics units to the area. SHW and LSH have been appointed as joint agents to market this new speculative development. Panattoni Park Bognor Regis is being built on Newlands Road, next to the A29 dual carriageway, which gives direct access to the central South coast.
Within a 50-mile radius, there are 3.8 million unique addresses, making the location attractive for businesses that need to reach many customers and supply chains. Three units are being built, with sizes of 31,698, 60,039 and 113,055 square feet.
The units can be let as separate spaces or combined to form a larger unit of 173,093 square feet. The total space being developed is 205,000 square feet. Construction is taking place now, with the buildings expected to be finished in Q2 2026.
Nearby, there are shops and services including Lidl, Aldi, Starbucks and McDonalds. A retail park and petrol station are also close. Other well-known companies such as Amazon, Rolls Royce and Warburtons have already set up operations in the area, helping cement the status of Panattoni Park Bognor Regis as a prime spot for logistics and industry.
The new buildings aim for high environmental standards, targeting a BREEAM ‘Excellent’ and EPC A Rating. Sustainable features will include high levels of insulation and air tightness, water-saving taps and toilets, rooflights to provide natural lighting, EV vehicle charging points, a roof-mounted PV system for solar power, rainwater harvesting, and sub-metering to track energy use. These features are designed to make the park energy-efficient and help reduce operating costs for future occupiers.
David Martin, partner at SHW, said: "We are excited to be involved with the marketing of this new Panattoni industrial and warehouse development on the northern side of Bognor Regis, next to Rolls Royce. "With flexible planning on unit size, the development will suit a range of occupiers, with the mid to big box market catered for and discussions are already taking place with a number of businesses across the South East." Mr Martin is marketing the development alongside Tim Hardwicke, Duncan Marsh and Charlie Patey–Johns.
