Audi has expanded the A5 model range with the introduction of the new plug-in, with a claimed range of up to 109km. They will also wear the legendary Quattro moniker and come in two power levels – 295 and 362bhp.

All that power comes from a 2.0-litre petrol engine that is twinned to electric motors hooked up to a new high-voltage battery at the rear of the vehicle. Audi has boosted its capacity to 25.
