The shop, previously located at High Newham Road, has moved to a larger unit at U2 High Newham Road. The new store will stock freshly prepared Greggs favourites, including the popular sausage roll, steak bake, and vegan alternatives. A range of over-ice drinks, including the new peach iced tea and mint lemonade, will also be available.
Shop manager Kieren Chamberlin said: "We can’t wait to welcome both Greggs fans and new customers to our brand-new shop. "We’ve got an amazing range of iconic savouries, Fairtrade hot drinks, hot food, and healthier choices available for takeaway, sit-in, or click and collect." The store will also offer a click and collect service via the Greggs app.
The app is free to download and gives access to a variety of rewards. Gillian Long, retail operations director for Greggs, said: "We’re excited to be welcoming customers to our new and improved shop in Stockton. "We look forward to providing customers with a modern, convenient new place to experience their Greggs favourites.
" The Stockton shop will be open from 6.30am to 8.30pm Monday to Saturday, and from 7.
30am to 5.30pm on Sundays. Any further jobs created at the Stockton shop will be posted on the Greggs Family website.
Customers can enjoy Greggs' deals throughout the day, including breakfast combinations of a breakfast roll or baguette with a Fairtrade orange juice or hot drink, served until 11am. Recommended reading For those looking for an evening bite, the store will offer hot food such as southern fried chicken goujons, potato wedges, and a selection of chicken burgers, chicken wraps, fish finger sandwiches, and fish finger wraps. Pizza slices, including the new veggie feast pizza, margherita pepperoni, spicy Mexican chicken, and pepperoni hot shot, will also be available.
After 4pm, customers can pick up any pizza slice with any drink from just £2.85 instead of the usual £3.50.
