New alcohol licence at growing Dursley Rugby Club

The club - which has acquired more land, facilities and members over the last few years - has applied for an amendment to their alcohol licence to cover these new areas. The Rugby club - based at The Avenue in Stinchcombe - also hosts Stinchcombe Stragglers cricket while Dursley Running club is an affiliated club. A document - explaining the application - read: "This additional land has allowed the club to grow its offering of community events such as schools rugby and schools cross country.

"The club has also recently begun hosting Dursley Rocks (under tens). "The number of rugby sections has also grown for example Ladies, Touch Rugby, Walking Rugby..
