Selling Sunset has returned to Netflix for its eighth instalment - and it certainly isn't short of drama. Available to stream now, season eight joins the realtors of The Oppenheim Group as they flip over-the-top listings and deal with high-stakes drama, all while navigating love, betrayal and loyalty both inside and outside the brokerage. As per the official synopsis, Selling Sunset follows seven of LA’s most successful female realtors who all work under the same roof at the top agency in the Hollywood Hills and Sunset Strip.
They work hard and play harder as they compete with the cutthroat LA market and each other. The ladies of The Oppenheim Group do what it takes to make it to the top of their game, all while trying to keep their personal lives intact. The latest instalment sees the return of realtors Chrishell Stause, Mary Fitzgerald, Emma Hernan, Amanza Smith, Chelsea Lazkani, Bre Tiesi and Nicole Young, working under the watchful eyes of bosses Jason and Brett Oppenheim.
But while at an open house in episode two, Chelsea caused a stir with her choice of outfit. The Brit had already irked the other girls by running late. They were shocked when she showed up wearing a light brown cropped jacket and skirt co-ord, which was super short.
Bre and Mary discussed her outfit as she greeted the other girls. "Chelsea's skirt is really short," Mary said, as Bre responded: "Her ass is out. I think her coochie's out too!" Mary added: "Everything is out!" Fans took to X, formerly Twitter to comment on the moment.
Some were quick to defend Chelsea, while others pointed out Mary and Bre's hypocrisy. One fan asked: "You mean the women who wear outfits with their chest out, midriffs exposed, lace, etc are complaining about Chelsea’s skirt? I’m so happy Chelsea dragged Mary by that fake tan of hers. #SellingSunset.
" (sic) A second agreed: "We literally just saw Mary in a whole ass lace outfit to go meet with sellers but now she wanna speak on what Chelsea wear...
" A third expressed: "Imagine my shock seeing these people wear crop tops and yet chelsea getting complained on for skort??? Alright Mary girl you doing this s*** on purpose #sellingsunset". (sic) Another reasoned: "Chelsea’s skirt WAS short, however I don’t think anything the girls wear is truly professional tbh. #SellingSunset".
Many viewers agreed, as one said: "chelsea is sending me on this season of selling sunset...
yes the skirt is too short BUT it’s also hypocritical that other girls are commenting on it when they all wear very very unprofessional things on the daily". (sic) Others, however, didn't understand Chelsea's choice of outfit. One viewer asked: "Now Chelsea why would you wear that girl.
.. but cheeks out and everything" as a second echoed: "Why did Chelsea wear that to the listing please? #SellingSunset.
