Netflix has tapped a new Queen of Christmas to captivate audiences this holiday season. On Thursday, the streaming platform announced that Sabrina Carpenter will be hosting her very own Netflix special, titled A Nonsense Christmas, which will feature surprise musical guests as well as performances from her holiday EP Fruitcake, various holiday classics, comedic cameos and unexpected duets. The 25-year-old pop star, who has been on a roll since opening for Taylor Swift's Eras Tour and releasing her chart-topping album Short n' Sweet, shared the news on her Instagram account with a cheeky video.
In her announcement video, she slowly approaches the camera wearing a sparkly Santa bodysuit and black, fur-trimmed boots. 'Expecting someone else?' she asks with a smirk, seemingly alluding to Mariah Carey, who has become virtually synonymous with Christmas over the last three decades.
