Netflix’s British four-part limited series “Adolescence” has taken TV by storm, the title has pulled in the best critical reviews of any new series of the past two years.It has also been a smash hit for Netflix – the series currently at fourth place on the streamer’s all time English-language series list with 114 million views in only 24 days and is set to overtake “Dahmer: Monster” (115.6 million) for third any time now.

Kleiner adds that he hopes co-creator Stephen Graham and writer Jack Thorne would be able to return for another entry.The series follows the story of a 13-year-old schoolboy Jamie Miller, who is arrested after the murder of a girl in his school. All four episodes are filmed in one continuous take and the series deals with topics such as the modern ‘manosphere’, and the influence of social media and people like Andrew Tate on today’s teenagers.
Members of U.K. Parliament have called for the series to be mandatory viewing in schools.
