The second part of the final season of the Netflix martial arts drama has been unveiled, transporting the dojos to Barcelona for the Sekai Tekai tournament to compete on the mat.
However, in the wake of her mother's heartbreaking death, Tory Nichols (portrayed by Peyton List) decided to abandon Miyagi-Do for Cobra Kai, setting up a showdown against her boyfriend and friends. As Tory becomes the focal point in the second half of the sixth series, let's delve into the life of actress Peyton List. Born in April 1998, Peyton is the only girl among three siblings who embarked on an acting and modelling career at a tender age.
Her acting debut came at the age of four, when she appeared in the soap opera As The World Turns in 2002. She subsequently featured in a slew of other prominent shows and films, including Sex and the City, Spider-Man 2, Law and Order SVU, and 27 Dresses. Simultaneously, she pursued a modelling career, appearing in advertisements for Little Monkey Lost and Kraft Macaroni and posing for brands like Clean and Clear and Limited Too.
Peyton graced the cover of Girl's Life magazine, as well as PROM and Bridal Guide. In 2011, she joined the Disney clan, playing Emma Ross in the series Jessie for four years and subsequently taking on other teen-centric roles. Her portfolio includes projects like Light As A Feather, Valley Girl, Bunk'd, School Spirits, and Girl Haunts Boy.
Peyton is romantically involved with her Cobra Kai co-star, Jacob Bertrand, who portrays Eli Moskowitz in the Netflix series. While Peyton was making waves in Disney's Jessie, Jacob was part of the Disney XD show Kirby Buckets. Their paths crossed in 2015 during the production of the Disney original film The Swap.
Their friendship endured for several years before blossoming into love. In March 2022, the couple confirmed their relationship status to TMZ, with Bertrand revealing: "We've been dating for a while. I've never dated anyone I've worked with before.
This is almost a trial by fire. "I met her when I was like 15. I was actually tight friends with her brother Spencer, so that was kinda awkward to be like, 'Hey man, I like your sister.
' "But yeah, we had fun on set and then hung out off-set.'" Reflecting on their relationship two years prior with Page Six, Peyton gushed: "It's been so fun. I feel like we're all best friends and getting to have, like, a person that I really love in the same city I'm just so grateful for him.
"He's the nicest person. But it is weird [on set] because I feel like we're with everyone but each other on the show." As per her IMDb profile, the 26 year old starlet is already gearing up for another project that she initially began working on in 2023.
Peyton is set to reprise her role as Maddie Nears in the Paramount+ series School Spirits. In this intriguing drama, Maddie finds herself trapped in the afterlife, where she embarks on an investigation into her own disappearance and as she delves deeper, she uncovers a web of secrets and deception. While the official release date for the second season remains under wraps, it's confirmed that the show will make its comeback in 2025.
