KATHMANDU: Nepal-China Cultural and Tourism Promotion Programme is going to be held in Guillin, after a month. The event will be organized in collaboration with China-based Guilin Merchants International Travel Service, Guillin Tourism University and Guillin English Corner School. Company Chairman Satya Lama Tamang said Nepali artists, tourism entrepreneurs, and traders, government representatives and others would participate in the event.
The bilateral cultural exchange and tourism promotion programme will be held in Guilin, China on Baishakh 28 (May 10, 2025). “We are confident that this will further strengthen bilateral relations and enhance cooperation in the tourism sector,” Tamang said. Managing Director of the company, Phurba Gyalbo Moktan, said that Nepal’s tourism would be promoted along with presenting traditional songs and dances from Nepal and China.
On the occasion, awards would be given to those who have contributed to Nepal’s culture and tourism sector, he added. ‘Choreographer’ Kamal Rai said that various cultural programmes would be organized in Guillin, China, reflecting the costumes and culture of Rai, Limbu, Gurung, Tharu among other communities of Nepal from Mechi in the east to Mahakali in the west..
