Neighbours will have a spring in their step as street wins in postcode lottery

Lucky neighbours will have a spring in their step as their street won a jackpot on the postcode lottery. The People's Postcode Lottery announced that, among other postcodes nationwide, a local postcode was victorious. On Thursday, the charity announced that the M26 4LY area, which covers Sandiford Row in Radcliffe, scooped the daily prize.

Every ticket in the postcode won its holder £1,000 each. Sandiford Row in Radcliffe (Image: Google Maps) Subscriptions to the postcode lottery support a range of charities across the UK. The People's Postcode Lottery manages lotteries for 20 charities, with each one having one draw a month.



The lottery supports "a wide range of charities and good causes across Britain and around the world". To date, they’ve provided more than £1.1 Billion in funding which is helping thousands of organisations and projects.
