2 and Louisville, where NU plays Sunday, is No. 4. The Huskers are No.



5 again this week after going 3-0 last week. Nebraska is 8-1 this season with wins against four teams ranked in this week's poll: Kentucky (No. 11), TCU (No.

23), Creighton (No. 9) and Arizona State (No. 14).

Nebraska received one first-place vote in the poll. SMU, which handed NU its only loss so far, broke into the poll at No. 22.

Pittsburgh (6-0) remained No. 1 in the poll, followed by, in order: Stanford, Penn State, Louisville, Nebraska, Purdue, Wisconsin, Texas, Creighton and Kansas. People are also reading.
