Pune: Calling NDA 's 100 days in govt a complete failure, former state cabinet minister and Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray on Monday said that the country needs new leadership and INDIA bloc will soon replace govt. "None of the promises made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the first 100 days have been fulfilled. We will have to count how many days he spent abroad.

Nothing has been done to address inflation, unemployment, or bring peace to Manipur. Union finance minister makes people apologise for their comments," Aaditya said. BJP on Saturday expelled a party functionary after a video of the owner of the popular Sri Annapoorna restaurant seeking an apology from Union finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman went viral on social media, triggering criticism from DMK and the Congress party.

Aaditya said NDA will not complete five years in office. He was in Pune to offer prayers at various Ganesh pandals. He also criticised the state govt's performance.

He questioned the state's law and order situation after on Shiv Sena MLA Sanjay Gaikwad's comments on leader of the opposition and Congress member Rahul Gandhi. "The rise in crime, atrocities against women, and such statements make people wonder if there is a home minister. Other ministers are busy splitting parties," he added.

He also took a dig at Election Commission of India and BJP for not announcing the assembly poll for Maharashtra along with Haryana and Jammu & Kashmir. "They should have been held simultaneously. Civic elections are overdue for two years.

BJP is scared of losing in Maharashtra and hence these polls are being postponed," he said.
