Minnesota Timberwolves forward Julius Randle had his first signature moment with his new club on Sunday, sinking a buzzer-beating, step-back three to lift the Wolves past the Phoenix Suns. A day later, the NBA is saying Randle's shot shouldn't have counted. Right before Randle raised and fired his shot, Suns defender Josh Okogie hit the floor, prompting Suns star Devin Booker to raise his arms to ask for an offensive foul call against Randle, which never came.

However, the Suns went on to miss a couple of chances, setting up Randle's heroics. It's been a rocky start to the season for the Wolves after acquiring Randle and guard Donte DiVincenzo from the New York Knicks just days before training camp for franchise star Karl-Anthony Towns, so they'll take whatever they can get. Sunday's win pushed them to 8-6 on the season.
