Elsa/Getty Images/AFP Charlotte Hornets star guard LaMelo Ball is injured once again, with right ankle soreness forcing him to miss the final three quarters of a 97-89 loss to the Brooklyn Nets in the NBA on Monday in New York. Ball missed five games bridging January and February due to a sprained left ankle before playing 36 minutes against the San Antonio Spurs on Friday.
He then sat out against the Detroit Pistons on Sunday because of left ankle soreness. Charlotte will play again on Wednesday, making a trip to Orlando for a meeting with the Magic before having a week off for the All-Star break.
