LAHORE - Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has congratulated Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif for achieving a record reduction in electricity tariffs. He also commended the Prime Minister’s team for successfully lowering power costs for both domestic and industrial consumers. In a statement issued on Friday, Nawaz Sharif expressed confidence that the country is now moving in the right direction under the leadership of Shehbaz Sharif.
He highlighted that making electricity more affordable would not only provide much-needed relief to the public but also boost industrial output and exports. “The PML-N has always prioritized economic relief for the masses during its tenure,” he stated, emphasizing that the party remains committed to ensuring financial stability for the people. He further noted that the consistent decline in inflation is a testament to the government’s sound economic policies.
