Prayagraj: Navratri celebrations at Shaktipeeth Maa Kalyani Devi Temple will be for 8 days and held from March 30 to April 6, said temple chief priest Acharya Pandit Shyam Ji Pathak on Friday. "This time, Navratri will be celebrated for 8 days. During these 8 days several rituals will be held at the Maa Kalyani Dham campus for which all preparations have been made," he said.
On Sunday, the first day of Navratri, the temple will open for darshan and worship with Mangala Aarti at 5.00am. Devotees will be able to have Goddess Kalyani's darshan till 2pm.
In the same sequence, devotees will get to witness the Goddess's grand decoration in different forms every day. During Navratri, Maha Aarti will be held daily at 7am. Along with this, akhand jyot will take place from 8am to 11am and from 4pm to 7pm along with Maa's abhishek pujan.
