Nationwide confirms payout for millions and the exact payment day

More than 12 million customers will receive £50 thank you

Nationwide has revealed who will qualify for its new £50 bonus payment, while will be paid to millions of customers, and the exact date it will be paid by. The payout is part of the building society's Big Nationwide Thank You, and reflects the purchase of Virgin Money. To say thank you, the website confirms they're giving over 12 million members £50 each - more than £600 million in total - on April 30 2025.
