Naomi and Jade Cargill will go one-on-one at WWE WrestleMania 41. SmackDown general manager Nick Aldis made the Naomi vs. Cargill bout official for WrestleMania on Friday’s SmackDown after a pull-apart between the two.
Naomi defeated B-Fab in singles competition on Friday’s show, then attempted to call Cargill out for a confrontation. Cargill attacked unexpectedly instead, and the two competitors were pulled apart. Aldis then made the WrestleMania bout official.
In storyline, Naomi attacked Cargill last November, forcing her to relinquish her spot as Women’s Tag Team Champion alongside Bianca Belair. Naomi then assumed Cargill’s title. Cargill returned at Elimination Chamber in March, revealing Naomi as her attacker.
