Mystics are outclassed by Liberty, need a lot of help to make the playoffs

The Washington Mystics will have to stay patient for two more days. The WNBA’s last playoff berth has been up for grabs for weeks, and it won’t be handed out until the final night of the season. Tuesday’s second-to-last game didn’t bring any good developments for the Mystics: They fell, 87-71, to the New York Liberty at Entertainment and Sports Arena to tumble a game behind the Atlanta Dream for the eighth and final postseason spot.
