Myrrhzone molyac Institution signed a business agreement (MOU) with livestock methane gas research startup company MeTech Holdings (MeTech) to promote “co-research to reduce carbon reduction by using methane capsules on November 15. The project will begin to develop low-carbon feed for animals. The business agreement ceremony held on the 14th in the conference room in Metech Holdings headquarters located in the InterContinental Seoul COEX in Samseong-dong, Seoul.

Myrrhzone molyac Institution Director Kim Jin-woo, Metech Holdings CEO Park Chan-mok, microbiology research company Choilab Inc. CEO Dr, Choi Yong Keun, and Myrrhzone molyac Institution expert veterinarian Kang Jun-ho participated in the ceremony. Myrrhzone molyac Institution is a company that has successfully manufactured “Carbe supplementary feed” based on the patented myrrh complex extract (MHS-90) developed by extracting and fermenting myrrh, and this year is Myrrhzone molyac Institutions 10th anniversary.

“Carbe supplementary feed” was developed by combining myrrh complex extract (MHS-90) with the amino acid taurine, which is an essential nutrient for livestock and pets. It is currently being distributed preferentially to the Carbe poultry farm in Icheon, Gyeonggi-do in Korea and is receiving positive reviews from poultry farms. The patent no.

is 10-2223084 (Antibacterial and immune-enhancing livestock feed additive manufactured using myrrh and gold). Dr. Kim Jin-woo, the director of Myrrhzone molyac Institute (Doctor of Engineering), who is well known as the Myrrh Doctor, has been focusing on myrrh research for 20 years and is one of the most authoritative researchers in Korea.

Dr. Kim Jin-woo has actually confirmed the antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and influenza virus reduction effects of myrrh through scientific research for over 20 years and announced it through academic journal (SCI-level) Applied Sciences. Metech Holdings is a livestock methane gas research company that has succeeded in developing the ‘Methane Capsule’, a device that can measure (detect) methane gas (CH4) and carbon dioxide (CO2) which generates inside the stomach of cattle.

The company, which has also succeeded in developing a methane reduction capsule that can reduce methane gas (CH4) is exporting methane capsules to five countries overseas, including U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), a federal government agency in the United States, Brazilian government agencies, Australia, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom.

CEO Chan-mok Park from Metech Holdings said, “There is a lot of interest in low-carbon Hanwoo (Korean beef, K-cow). We are also in partnership with blockchain technology company Hessegg to introduce a blockchain-based system for K-cow (Korean beef) low-carbon certification standardization. If we succeed in developing low-carbon feed with Myrrhzone molyac Institute, we can distribute globally not only domestically” Myrrhzone molyac Institution Director Jin-woo, Kim said, “Methane gas generated from cattle is very serious.

Specifically, the health of livestock is an important issue as it is directly related to the survival and welfare of mankind. Through the MOU with Metech Holdings, we hope that “Carbe supplementary feed” will able to reduce carbon emissions. We will begin research on reducing livestock methane gas by utilizing “Carbe supplementary feed” containing myrrh complex extract (MHS-90) and methane capsules developed by Metech Holdings.

The results of the research will be published in an SCI-level international academic journal in collaboration with Choilab, a company specialized in microbial instrument analysis.”.
