Vedang Raina opened up about his love for classic cinema and revealed that Baiju Bawra holds a special place in his heart. Vedang Raina is steadily carving a niche for himself in showbiz, thanks to his vibrant personality and compelling screen presence. The actor made his big-screen debut last year with Alia Bhatt’s action drama Jigra and has been turning heads ever since.

Recently, Vedang opened up about his biggest dream — to work with the acclaimed filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali. In a candid chat with Bollywood Bubble, Vedang Raina opened up about his love for classic cinema and revealed that Baiju Bawra holds a special place in his heart. “I think Baiju Bawra.

For as long as I remember, I’ve had a huge poster of Baiju Bawra at home. My father loved the movie and introduced me to it at a young age. I also feel strongly for music in general, so that’s a film I’d love to be a part of.

I heard SLB (Sanjay Leela Bhansali) Sir is remaking Baiju Bawra. I’d love to be part of it. However, I still feel like I may have a long way to go before being on an SLB set.

It is my one biggest dream nonetheless." Vedang Raina made his acting debut in Zoya Akhtar’s coming-of-age musical The Archies, which premiered on Netflix. The film also featured Agastya Nanda, Khushi Kapoor, and Suhana Khan, marking a fresh wave of young talent stepping into the spotlight.

However, Vedang Raina made his big-screen debut with the 2024 action thriller Jigra, directed by Vasan Bala and produced by Dharma Productions. The film explored the emotional bond between siblings, with Alia Bhatt playing Satya and Vedang portraying her brother, Ankur. The narrative unfolded around a gripping jailbreak mission, revealing a painful family history before transitioning into high-stakes action.

Manoj Pahwa also played a pivotal role, offering guidance to Satya as she fought to protect her handcuffed brother. According to various rumours, Vedang has been auditioning for a role in filmmaker Imtiaz Ali’s next love drama, opposite actress Ananya Panday. However, nothing has been completed, and the actor is yet to reveal his next picture.
