Munetsi scores to claim bragging rights against Kadewere’s Nantes

Zimbabwe international Marshall Munetsi scored against fellow countryman Tino Kadewere’s side to claim a 2-1 in a French Ligue 1 match on Sunday. Munetsi started for Stade de Reims, as did Tino Kadewere, the latter after recovering from injury. Hosts Nantes took the lead in the 28th minute courtesy of Douglas Augusto.

That lead lasted six minutes. Munetsi powered a header from the penalty spot to level the match after connecting with a Nhoa Sangui cross. Keito Nakamura sealed all three points for Reims in injury time.



Munetsi played the full match while Kadewere was taken off after 72 minutes. It was Reims’s first away win since 25 February..
