The traffic and power block will begin at 1 pm on Saturday, April 26, and will last until midnight on Sunday, April 27. During this time, 163 local train services will be interrupted.
73 services will be cancelled beginning Saturday afternoon, and 90 will be suspended until Sunday. The cancellation of these services will have a substantial impact on the daily commute of thousands of passengers between Borivali, Kandivali and other neighboring areas.
