Multi-tier security arrangements in place across Kashmir ahead of Home Minister Amit Shah’s visit to Srinagar

Srinagar, Apr 06: Security arrangements have been heightened across Kashmir ahead of Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s scheduled visit, with multi-tier security arrangements and drone surveillance in place across key locations, officials said on Sunday.A top police official told news agency JKNS that strict security measures have been implemented, especially in Srinagar city, where roads are being closely monitored and additional checkpoints have been established.He said frisking and checking of people has been intensified at multiple points while drone surveillance is being carried out around vital installations and strategic locations to ensure foolproof security.
