Susmita Joshi from Umargam in Valsad district, an MA Part 1 German student at the Faculty of Arts, has been awarded the DAAD Stibet I fellowship. It is worth 3,968 euros and is for four months of study at the University of Education in Weingarten, for the period between April and July 2025.

"She will be studying various aspects and methodologies of the teaching of German as a foreign and second language and will be doing practical training during her stay," said Jyotsna Phanse, the in-charge head of the department of German.
