MSDF takes part in 44th Ministerial Session of Arab Women’s Committee

Doha The State of Qatar virtually participated in the 44th ministerial session of the Arab Women’s Committee chaired by the State of Palestine. The session was an important platform to boost Arab cooperation in espousing women’s issues and empowering them in a range of fields.
Minister of Social Development and Family (MSDF), H E Buthaina bint Ali Al Jabr Al Nuaimi, represented the State of Qatar at the meeting.


Her participation was part of the State of Qatar’s unwavering commitment to backing the Arab women’s issues and effectively promoting their rights both at the economic and social levels.
Addressing the session, Her Excellency emphasised the importance of cooperation among Arab nations to overcome the challenges faced by women in the region, especially in the conflict-stricken zones, noting the grave situation in the Gaza Strip.
She highlighted that the State of Qatar is set to chair the Arab Women’s Committee in 2026, constituting a quintessential continuation of the achievements realised to further advance initiatives that aim to chart the Arab women’s future.
