- "We have talked a lot about schools, kindergartens. I want to draw attention to university students and the conditions of dormitories they live," MP Nilufar Alimjanova (Alliance) said at the plenary session of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan on October 9. Minister of Education Dogdurkul Kendirbaeva said the dormitories are being repaired now.

Infrastructure of dormitories is improved depending upon possibilities of particular universities, she said. MP Alimjanov asked the Minister of Education and management of universities to visit dormitories to see living conditions of students. "Not everything is as good as it seems there.

Renting an apartment is expensive. Students do not study much, but have to work to pay the rent for an apartment. Students sleep during classes.

This is the bitter truth. Therefore, it is necessary to create conditions for students in dormitories. The Cabinet of Ministers should also think about building new dormitories for students," the MP asked the government.
