Labour MP Chris Webb has described being mugged in London by a gang who stole his mobile phone. Writing on X , the member for Blackpool South said he was attacked as he returned to his flat in the capital on Monday night. "Luckily I have no injuries and I am ok," he said.
He also praised the Metropolitan Police for their "swift response and support". "The officers who assisted me went above and beyond," he said. "They are a remarkable credit to the force.
