MP Harini laments poor turnout at Waga meeting

National People’s Power MP Dr.Harini Amarasuriya who had arrived in Kahahena junction in Waga in the Avissawella electorate to address an election meeting was disappointed with the turnout at the location. The venue where the meeting was held was decorated with flags.

However, Dr.Amarasuriya after addressing the meeting had blamed the organisers for the poor participation of people. It has been reported that she has said that by organising meetings with fewer people will dampen public opinion on the party.
