
FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) -- A major road in Fayetteville is closed Tuesday night after a deadly wreck, police said.
The wreck was reported around 7:20 p.m. along Raeford Road/U.
S. 401 near Skibo Road/U.S.
401, according to the Fayetteville Police Department.A motorcyclist was involved in a crash with a white Honda SUV, police said.The motorcyclist died in the wreck, according to officers.
Police have closed all of Raeford Road just east of Skibo Road.No details were released about how the crash took place or about the victim in the wreck.Photo by Ray Duffy/CBS 17It's not known how long Raeford Road will be closed.
