The Dacorum Motorcycle Riders (DMR) rode from Hemel Hempstead to Watford on Saturday to deliver a selection of donated gifts to children in hospital during the festive season. Starting from their base at the Hop Tap bar at 1pm, the group rode through Apsley, Kings Langley and North Watford before arriving at the Vicarage Road hospital where they handed over the gifts to the West Herts Hospitals Charity. The annual ride was in support of the charity’s Christmas Smiles appeal which aims to bring some festive cheer to patients spending Christmas in hospital, by providing gifts for them and hardworking NHS ward teams working over the festive period.
