Bothwellpark High School announced it was now a Rotary Lend with Care Embassy Ambassador School after working in partnership with the Motherwell Wishaw Rotary Club. Bothwellpark teacher Amanda McLeod said: “Being a Rotary ambassador school has given us the opportunity to help people less fortunate than ourselves throughout the world. “We are proud to be able to support individuals, families and communities achieve goals and dreams of sustainability to create a better and more self-sufficient life for themselves.

Once your money is repaid, you can choose to recycle your loan to support more low-income entrepreneurs, make a donation or withdraw your funds. The initiative currently operates in 11 countries. One hundred per cent of the money loaned through Lend With Care goes to the low-income entrepreneurs you choose to support.
